I think this is interesting and, I suppose, one could choose to see it as profound: life is divided into eukaryotes (which have a cell nucleus) and prokaryotes (which don’t; these are bacteria and archaea). In eukaryotic cells, such as those in the human body, there is a cell nucleus with DNA, and also lots of different organelles. One of these is the mitochondrion, the cellular power...
Last Day of School
So today is my last official day of school. Plus, I only have 2 lessons today. So I’m only in school from 11 till 1! Woop! :)
My happy face in the morning! :)
I’m not looking at anything in particular…
My kitty, Marley. Ain’t he purdy?
Well, on to breakfast! Instead of making my usual scrambled eggs on toast with asparagus for, I decided to have eggy toast with...
I made my own veggie tacos for dinner. Twas guuuud. I should start taking pictures of the meals I make. I feels proud making my own food. :3
3 more days left of school… Its my last school assembly tomorrow. There will be a presentation from our head of year, and my friend, Laura, (who is head girl) has created a video for us to watch. I’m looking forward to it. :)
I’ve started...
Nom nom nom. I’ve just finished eating my breakfast that I made. Scrambled eggs and steamed asparagus on toast. :) I’ve made myself a salad to have for lunch, and I’ll be making myself seafood paella for dinner. I’m becoming quite the chef. :3 well..kinda..
I best continue getting ready for school… I hope you all have a nice day. Toodles
I just heard this on the radio. I’m sure you would also have the feeling to swing your head to side to side while singing at the top of your lungs.
The video is a little weird.
I got a little burnt this weekend. England has recently had a lot of sun recently. Dan and I mostly spent this weekend in his back garden, playing on my Pokemon Blue game on his Gameboy. T’was awesome. :) I had a strange 1 minute experience with some twelve year old boy while I was walking to Dan’s house on Friday… This boy on his bike peddled up beside me and asked for the time....
So what am I doing in Art now my coursework and exam work is finished? Labour work. The teachers are making us clean our art studio, making us do their dirty work. We have to scrub the tables, clean palettes, pick rubbish off the floor, etc etc. What a load of pants.
Here’s some pikchurs.
Art is over. Completed. Finito. I won’t be involved within an art subject till I start my Foundation Course at London College of Communication. Oh, and I finally decided to take on a foundation course in animation. I can’t wait! :D So that leaves me with Film Studies and Media Studies, and what we’re basically doing in those subjects are revising what we’ve covered up till...
On Friday was Commemoration Day at my school. (Celebrating the school opening). There are always whole school assemblies held on that day, and as always, they give out rewards. I won the ‘Evan’s Bequest’ which was a reward for ‘consistent hard work and maintaining high standards’. I recieved a £20 gift card to spend at Waterstone’s, so perhaps this week,...
sometimes i feel lame cause i've never been drunk
(via sleepingwithsilence)
You shouldn’t feel lame! I’m 18, (turning 19 this year), and I haven’t even drank alcohol. Its just my choice not too. Most people seem totally blown away well I tell them. Its rather funny.
Busy Busy Sleepy
As the title says, I have been busy lately, which as a result has increased my tiredness. (It already seems my level of tiredness is high enough as it is). My deadline for my art coursework is next Wednesday, so I’ve been working hard to get all my coursework done, which includes finishing my final piece, a minature set, working more in my sketchbook, and editing a 3000 word essay. On top of...

Today
To celebrate my getting-into-uni, Dan and I went into London and discovered and bought some really awesome stuff!
First of all, we went into Chinatown and bought chinese buns. This time I tried the red bean paste bun, which was sweet and yammy, but I preferred the vegetable bun I had prior. Dan tried the pork bun, yet he also preferred the chicken bun he had before. So you know what buns...
So far...
So as usual, I stayed over at Dan’s house on Friday and Saturday. On Friday we had a Kebab takeaway with his family. I had a veggie burger which was surprisingly very nice! On Saturday morning, Dan and I were looking online to find whether there were any free events or any interesting exhibitions we could go to in London that day, but unfortunately, there were none. However, we did discover...
