My Weekend
On Friday, Dan and I went out for a meal to celebrate our booked holiday to Venice. I had a vegetarian burrito, which was very nice, followed by a banana split on a waffle with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. So gooood. Dan had the same dessert too, but he finished it before me, and was left staring at my plate while I finished my dessert off. :P
I had vouchers and gift cards...
Hozzah
Tickets are now offically booked for Venice! Dan and I will be going on the 6th July for four days. On the 10th, we will leave for his family house in Italy, which we’ll stay at for a further twenty days. We’ll be staying at a four star hotel, which was previously a palace and it looks amazing. I can’t wait! ^^

Next I put it in a bowl and poured some raspberry yoghurt over the top. It...

So on Pancake Day Dan and I made ourselves savoury pancakes, but we were too full to eat our dessert pancakes, so we left it for tomorrow. So within 2 days, actually.. in the space of… 13 hours? Dan and I consumed roughly 12 pancakes each. IT WAS FREAKING AMAZING!
I enjoyed preparing and cooking our meals. This morning I made french toast for the first time and it was successful. Hozzah!...

Friday: I went out to a restaurant called Mosaica with Dan and his family as part of his 18th birthday celebration. Mosaica is my new favourite restaurant. Inside it looks like a big studio. The walls are painted black with dark floorboards. There’s a TV and old dusty chairs and other furnishings in one corner. There are paintings on the walls, and lights hanging from pipes. On a wooden...

Its almost the end of the weekend, and I’m not even ready to start a new week. I’ve had a good weekend, a lot of it consisted around food. :P
Friday: Dan, my little sister (Hannah), and myself went to a Pancake House for dinner. I had a savory pancake; a fish dish - prawns, tuna, anchovies, capers, cheese and tomato sauce. Twas really nice! It was my first time eating anchovies and...

“The slaughtered chickens go to a massive refrigerated tank of water, where thousands of birds are communally cooled. Tom Devine, from the Government Accountability Project, has said that the “water in these tanks has been aptly named “fecal soup” for all the filth and bacteria floating around.
